The Junior League of Plano is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Plano's membership includes over 900 women who are committed to improving life in Collin County. Since its inception, more than 2,000 women have served as members. League members have raised over $2.5 million, implemented more than 200 community service projects, and worked more than 100,000 volunteer hours in Collin County. Membership in The Junior League is open to women of all races, religions, and national origins who share in our commitment to volunteerism and to improving our community. Recruiting for the 2010-2011 New Member class is now closed. Please check back in the spring for the 2011-2012 New Member Information Schedule. Organizations that wish to apply for Junior League of Plano volunteer support for a one-time evening or weekend project should complete and submit the Done In A Day application.

The Junior League's valuable community programs are supported through several fundraisers, campaigns, and partnerships. Because our league is primarily volunteer based, almost every dollar earned through these efforts is allocated to our projects and programs.
